Have you ever thought about what would happen if an asteroid hit earth? Well it may become a reality in 2032, just 7 years away. Asteroid YR4 has been in the eyes of scientists for a long time now however, it has just become a public threat. There is a 3% chance for this asteroid to collide with earth. While this may seem like a very slim chance it is actually the highest probability percentage ever assigned to an asteroid. 

YR4 is between 130-300 feet. If this asteroid were to strike the states then it would of course cause damage but not as much as one would think. There is a 97% chance of it striking earth as of now but what will the percentage be on December 22, 2032 is the real question.

Find out the trajectory of the asteroid and if your home is at risk of impact. Doomsday survivalists say your best bet is seeking safety by going into a concrete underground bunker or storm shelter and bringing plenty of food because you may be in the shelter for a while. 

Asteroids can be a worrisome topic for most as it is something we truly cannot control or predict fully however, it is something we should consider.
