The 2020 Sertoma Chili Cook-off to be hosted on Feb. 22 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center. This unique charity event allows participants to sample chili, enjoy live bands and support a great cause.

Since the annual fundraising event began in 1981, $2.7 million dollars has been raised for Springfield’s Boys and Girls Clubs. While chili is the focus of this event, Sertoma Clubs have been able to make an impact on the community.

Sertoma Clubs have continuously supported children’s charities in Southwest Missouri since their founding in 1941 hosting major events. The main focus of Sertoma Clubs is to support at risk youth in the community, throwing several charity events throughout the year. The term “Sertoma” is even an acronym for “SERvice TO MAnkind.”

Attending this event not only contributes to a charitable cause and is a fun lunch alternative, but also features several live bands. This year’s band lineup, on two stages, include:

Miller Lite Main Stage:

11:10 to 11:55 Liz Moriondo

12:15 to 1:00 Innuendo

The 2020 Chili Cook-off gives participants an opportunity to sample a wide variety of chili recipes and vote for their favorite booth. The event will feature several live bands and activities.
