Students and members of the Springfield community are invited To Juanita K Hammons Hall of the Performing Arts on Missouri State’s campus on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. for a fabulous night with a member of Netflix’s “Queer Eye” Fab Five, Antoni Porowski.

Preparing for the event

Kendall Vowels, Live Entertainment chair for Students Activities Council (SAC) and Rachel Reed, Live Entertainment co-chair for SAC at Missouri State University (MSU) are thrilled to welcome Antoni Porowski to town for this very special event.

“We are extremely excited to bring Antoni for this event! We were presented Antoni as an option in our budget by our booking agent, and we knew that he would be a great choice for our campus and the community,” explained Vowels.

“We originally had a different date that Antoni was unfortunately unable to make it to, but he expressed that he would really like to do the show, and we were able to rearrange things so that we could still host this event. Our team was very passionate about making this event happen, and we are so happy that Antoni and his team felt the same way,” she continued.

Of course, this event will be quite a memorable one! Audience members will be able to engage in conversation with Porowski himself. Many laughs, stories and healthy living tips will be shared.

“Kendall and I will be asking Antoni questions sent in from fans and facilitating a conversation with him for the audience. It’ll be a great way to get to know him and hear his stories! He will also do a cooking demonstration on stage,” said Reed.
