Lavender Falls is a local lavender farm that is about a 30 minute drive from Springfield. The Clever, Mo.-based and family-owned business is centered around farming acres of organic lavender, which they sell in many different forms.

Lavender Falls has a seasonal restaurant on the lavender farm, which is open for only a few short weeks each summer. If you are lucky enough to secure a reservation, you can look forward to light, lavender-infused fare and drinks such as their famous lavender champagne.

If you do not have the time to drive to Clever or you miss their pop-up restaurant, do not worry: Lavender Falls has a presence in Springfield as well. You can often find their products in local boutiques, such as Rosette Studios: Arts and Letters, which carries a selection of goods from the lavender farm. Their products also can be found at the bi-weekly Farmers Market in Farmers Park. Lavender Falls makes an appearance at major craft festivals in the Springfield area, such as Cider Days, as well.

Emma Hesemann, a resident and student in Springfield, has been a loyal customer of Lavender Falls for years.

“I love their stuff that they carry. I especially love their lip balm. Everything they make is so cute and smells nice,” Hesemann stated.

Lavender is often regarded as possessing relaxing properties, which could be especially useful for any students struggling with the stress of impending deadlines and upcoming finals.

Hesemann said, “I also spray their linen spray on my pillow every night because it helps me sleep.”

New Springfield store

One exciting recent development for Lavender Falls is their brand-new store in the Battlefield Mall, where they are selling their goods right alongside brands like Forever 21 and Bath & Body Works. Now that their products are easily accessible, this is a perfect opportunity to find presents for the holiday season for your friends and family, or just for yourself, that are both unique and support a local business.

If you take a look inside their new store at the mall, you will find a myriad of lavender goods that would appeal to anyone on your holiday shopping list. If you or someone you love enjoys a hot bath on cold and stressful winter nights, Lavender Falls carries lavender in the form of bath bombs, milk baths, bath salts, and soaps. Their lavender lip balms and lotions are also popular gifts.

The new store also carries a few other brands of clothing and decor.
